Yobe Missing Girls “Are
we trying to act out the Chibok script again?” – Sonaiya
A
former presidential candidate on the platform of KOWA in the 2015 presidential
election, Remi Sonaiya has raised concern over conflicting reports of missing
girls from Government Girls’ Secondary School in Dapchi, Yobe State.
It
was reported that 48 out of the 98 girls missing were earlier rescued.
However, another report had it that other girls were reportedly rescued on Wednesday night
at Jilli-Muwarti, a border village between Gaidam in Yobe state and Borno
State.
It is still unclear how many of the girls they rescued and how many
still missing.
Sonaiya in reaction said it was another Chibok girls’ saga.
On her twitter page, she wrote “What are these conflicting reports
about whether 94 girls from the Government Girls’ Secondary School in Dapchi,
Yobe State, are missing or not?
“Are
we trying to act out the Chibok script again?”
