He was overthrown in 2013 following mass protests a year after he resumed office.

God will expose you – Fani-Kayode reveals how Gov. Bagudu stopped confirmation of ‘Christian’ Chief Judge

God will expose you – Fani-Kayode reveals how Gov. Bagudu stopped confirmation of ‘Christian’ Chief Judge
www.naijavoiceofthemasses.blogspot.com
Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation has revealed the reason behind non-confirmation of acting Chief Judge, Justice Esther Kataru, as the substantive Chief Judge of Kebbi State by Governor Atiku Bagudu.

We had reported that the Kebbi Acting Chief Judge petitioned the National Judicial Commission, NJC, over Bagudu’s alleged refusal to confirm her as chief judge.

But, reacting Gov. Bagudu while swearing in Justice Suleiman Ambursa as Acting Chief Judge of the state said that Kataru’s appointment was not confirmed due to alleged alteration of her date of birth and primary school certificate.

However, Fani-Kayode in a series of posts on his Twitter page on Sunday accused Gov. Bagudu of being behind the news of fake primary school certificate allegation against Karatu.

Describing Bagudu as a ‘religious bigot and misogynist’, Fani-Kayode said Bagudu pressurized the Speaker of the State House of Assembly to reject Kataru after the State Judicial Council had selected her and recommended her for confirmation.

The former minister wrote: “I have just spoken to the former Acting Chief Judge of Kebbi state, Justice Asabe Karatu and I confirm that what Gov. Atiku Bagudu did to her was utterly shameful. The allegation that she has a fake primary school certificate is false and she has since proved it.

“It was a lie cooked up by the Governor who pressurized the Speaker of the State House of Assembly to reject her after the State Judicial Council had selected her and recommended her for confirmation.

“Even the State House of Assembly itself later did a U-turn and offered to confirm her but the Governor again stopped them from doing so and quickly swore someone else in.

“Karatu has been in the state civil service for 38 years. She served diligently and with integrity. She is a pride to her Zuru people and to Kebbi state generally. Yet Atiku Bagudu wants to destroy her career and ruin her life all because she is a Christian and he is hell-bent on controlling the state judiciary.

“Bagudu has not appointed one Christian as either a Commissioner or Permanent Secretary since he became Governor of Kebbi. All that and he expects us to believe that he has no problem with Christians.

“The man is a religious bigot and a misogynist who wishes to control everything and everyone around him.I have a message for him: you have used your earthly power to destroy others but the God that we serve will expose you. shame you and vindicate Asabe Kataru.

“You will not be Governor forever and you will not escape his wrath. One day He will call you to account and you will pay for the wickedness and evil persecution that you have subjected his children to.”

Presidential election: Nigeria sitting on gunpower – Fani-Kayode warns INEC

Presidential election: Nigeria sitting on gunpower – Fani-Kayode warns INEC

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has warned that Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gun powder that could trigger and ignite a monumental “cataclysmic explosion, the likes of which have never been seen”.

He said this in reaction to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, claim that they never used a server during the 2019 presidential election.

INEC had told the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal that its officials never transmitted election results from their polling units electronically during the just concluded presidential election.

However, Fani-Kayode urged the electoral commission to stop playing with the future of Nigerians.

In a series of tweets, Fani-Kayode wrote: “You said you had a server and told us how much you spent on it. You complained that others had illegally gained access to it and that they ought to be arrested. Yet when the matter got to court, you changed the story and said you have no server. What type of strange abracadabra is this?

“Please stop playing Russian roullete with the future of our country. People’s eyes are open and we are sitting on a keg of gunpowder right now. If care is not taken you will pull the trigger and ignite a monumental and cataclysmic explosion the likes of which have never been seen.”

Kano Emirate: Fani-Kayode reacts to Ganduje’s plan to depose Emir Sanusi

Kano Emirate: Fani-Kayode reacts to Ganduje’s plan to depose Emir Sanusi
 www.naijavoiceofthemasses.blogspot.com
A former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to reports claiming that the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi was planning to depose the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi ll.

The Ganduje-led administration queried Sanusi for allegedly misappropriating the Emirate Council’s N3.4 billion.

Our Correspondent reliably gathered that the Emir was queried after the submission of a report by the State office of the anti-corruption and Public Complaint Commission who investigated him on the alleged squandering of the Emirate Council’s funds.

The report which was submitted to the Government late Tuesday is said to have recommended for the immediate suspension of the Emir.

The government has consequently handed down a query to the Emir through the Office of the Secretary to the Government, Usman Alhaji late Tuesday.

We reported that the government is planning on the complete deposition of the Emir when a final report of its forthcoming panel of inquiry comes out indicting Sanusi.

However, Fani-Kayode said that what Gov. Ganduje was doing to Sanusi was unacceptable.

In a tweet on Thursday, Fani-Kayode wrote: “I’m not the greatest fan of the Emir of Kano but I believe in justice for all regardless of my personal views about the victim of persecution and oppression or my prejudices. What Gov. Ganduje is doing to the Emir is unacceptable. It is petty, vindictive and politically-motivated.”

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the call made by Clergyman and founder of the Deeper Christian Life Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, for Christians to desist from attacking President Buhari either through speaking, news paper publications or any other means.

The clergyman while preaching in his Church in Gbagada, Lagos state yesterday Sunday, June 2nd, said it is ungodly to speak or attack constituted authority. According to him, God expects Christians to submit to their leaders.

Taking to his Twitter handle to react to Kumuyi's call, FFK wrote
"Don't attack Buhari"- Kumuyi.

God deliver us from shepherds that slaughter the sheep, that defend the cruel, that support injustice, that love the wicked, that serve the tyrant, that despise the weak, that enslave the poor and that worship genocidal maniacs and sociopathic butchers.
